Our free and confidential 24/7 Support Line is available to everyone working behind the scenes in film, TV, and cinema. Whether you’re a freelancers or salaried employee, from makeup artists to VFX teams, Production Managers to Casting Agents, you can reach out. We also support office workers in sales, finance, marketing, exhibition, or distribution.

Our friendly, supportive team of advisers can talk to you about anything, even if you just want in-the-moment support in the form of someone to listen to you.

How our advisers will support you
Once you get in touch, our advisers will ask several questions about your circumstances and the issue or issues you need support with. Next steps could include up to six structured short-term solution focused sessions with a BACP-accredited counsellor.
These can take place by phone, video link, or face-to-face, and you should be able to speak to your counsellor within a week or so – which is much quicker than accessing support through the NHS or other means.
You could also be assigned to an online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy course that you work through at your own pace.
Whatever the outcome, talking about a problem is the first step – and we’re here to help. All our calls are completely confidential and it’s totally up to you if you want to go ahead with whatever next steps our advisers might suggest.
