Today the charity joins forces with Screenskills for a new initiative aiming to provide professional and peer support for freelancers within the TV industry. Produced by Adeel Amini, the Freelancer Mental Wellbeing Morning at BFI is supported by Fremantle.
Our Director of Grants and Programmes Rachel Hillman is joining Gilly Cohen, MD of Indie Training Fund, psycholgist Dr Hazel Harrison and Jen Smith, Head of Diversity at BFI to discuss current work.
The Wellness Mornings are the brainchild of Bradford-born TV producer, writer and editor Adeel Amini, who specialises in studio entertainment, music and comedy, as a way of offering more support to freelancers, bringing to life some of the current support available and discussing wellbeing and mental health openly.
The event is sold out but you can watch a live stream of the event here
