We have supported emerging talent and experienced Film & TV professionals by providing support for:

  • Funding for a workshop or course
  • Cost of retraining
  • Cost of travelling to a course or workshop
  • Support for post-graduate qualification
  • Support to replace income while training

How we can help

There are several sources of funding available to our support team for education, training and development, mainly through our talent development awards. These are:

The John Brabourne Awards

Individual financial awards up to £5000, which can go towards production projects, scriptwriting and development, education and training, and technology or equipment needs. Find out more here.

A funding and support programme for four emerging comedy writers. Find out more here.

The Richard Attenborough Scholarship

A fully-funded scholarship for two places on an MA course at the National Film and TV School (NFTS). Find out more here.

The North East Travel and Subsistence Fund (NETS)
