The right financial and wellbeing support for you

If you’re behind the scenes in film, TV or cinema, we’ve got your back. You can rely on our down-to-earth and experienced team to bring you practical, financial or emotional support. Take a look at how it works here…

Immediate help with stop-gap grants

Money troubles can trip you up and stop you from progressing. If you’re facing unexpected costs or a short-term shortfall, or have an urgent financial need that’s preventing you from taking a job, our one-off grants could help. You should be eligible to apply if you work behind the scenes in film and TV, or have done recently. Unfortunately, we’re not able to help front-of-camera talent.

Our grants are there to help you manage urgent, immediate financial needs, and must clearly have a significant and positive impact on your career and wellbeing. They’re usually up to £750.

Support with work and wellbeing

Life and work don’t always run smoothly. You may be up against barriers that stop you moving up in your career, or returning to film, TV or cinema after a break due to illness, raising a family or caring for loved ones. Whatever the issue, our friendly work and wellbeing advisors can help.

You can work closely with our advisors over a 3–6-month period to see what’s holding you back, think through the options and get back on track. There’s support and guidance with anything from debt to housing to mental health worries.

We can also sort out career guidance with friendly professionals, who have lots of experience in our industry, including managing and hiring. If you need someone who “gets it”, we’re the team to talk to.
