Working with local industry, education and training providers, BFI National Lottery Skills Clusters help people within local communities develop their skills and pursue a career in the screen sector. An additional £2.85m of funding is now available to areas of the UK that are not already supported by a BFI Skills Cluster, where there is evidence of forecasted growth in screen production and where skills gaps or shortages are prevalent. Eligible organisations must be based in, or work with partners in, East Midlands, East of England, the South West, or the South East.

Unscripted Productions get funding to support job-sharers! Productions receive up to £8k to cover a crossover day and job-sharers receive one-to-one support from ReelTime Media.
All job roles can be considered. This new programme is funded by the ScreenSkills Unscripted TV Skills Fund and Prime Video Pathway.

House of Dogstar, is a new community bringing together creatives, industry professionals and investors - a space where ideas, people and opportunities connect. Soft launched at Mythos Manchester last month, you can register your interest at House of Dogstar to keep up to date.

Screen Alliance North, the BFI Skills cluster made up of Liverpool Film Office, North East Screen, Screen Manchester and Screen Yorkshire have launched a new Training Opportunities webpage on their current website. If you're based in the North of England you may find skills training that is relevant for you.
