Family Support Fund - with Raising Films
The Family Support Fund programme specifically targets parents and carers who need financial help with childcare or caring responsibilities. Currently running as a 12-month pilot scheme, the fund is a joint partnership with Raising Films to provide short term financial support.
If you’re juggling a professional career with caring or childcare responsibilities with your career in Film, TV or cinema exhibition, the fund aims to provide short-term support to help you bridge periods of reduced income.
The fund aims to support experienced screen industry professionals from anywhere in the UK with awards of £150 to £1,500 per person per year to help meet travel, accommodation and other subsistence costs. These may be costs incurred in attending job interviews, commissioning and funding pitches, development meetings, training, networking opportunities and other activities intended to develop or secure their careers which take place out of the applicant’s home region.Read More (On The Northern Film & Media Website)
